RVing the Verde Valley in Arizona | Five 2 Go Vlog Ep. 30
The Verde Valley of Arizona, just south of Flagstaff, is an incredible place to visit in an RV. We stayed in Cottonwood and used that as our home base to explore the area. The first day we made a visit to Tuzigoot National Monument, which is a really cool old pueblo overlooking the Verde River that gives the valley its name. Next up was Montezuma Castle National Monument – another pueblo, but this one was built directly into a high cliffside giving it a commanding view of the nearby landscape.
On our final full day in the area we went up to stunningly beautiful Sedona. The red rocks and dirt in the area are as famous as they are striking. We found the amazing family- and dog-friendly Fay Canyon Trail that everyone loved and had plenty of shade in the Arizona sun.
