Las Vegas isn’t the most kid-friendly destination, but we were able to use it as a central launching point to visit some great natural and man-made wonders. After cramming our RV into the small Thousand Trails in Las Vegas we went out exploring over several days. We walked around both the Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street areas during the day and at night to get the full Vegas experience. During one of the days we set out to the Hoover Dam, though the heat made it a short visit.
We spent Brian’s birthday exploring the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area, and while he and the girls went on a hike, Erin had some time to talk about traveling full-time with children.
